Absolutely Faux is a decorative painting team rooted in artistry, technical mastery, and a genuine love for transforming spaces. Founded by Leslie and Stephanie, our work blends traditional faux finishing techniques with a contemporary understanding of design, architecture, and materiality.

Every surface we create is intentional — designed to enhance the atmosphere of a space and support how it’s experienced day after day.

Our Beginning

Our story began through a shared connection to interiors and a belief that walls can do more than simply exist. Encouraged by Stephanie’s mother-in-law, an interior designer with a deep appreciation for faux finishes, we pursued formal training and enrolled at one of the leading faux finish institutes in the United States in Omaha, Nebraska.

There, we completed our initial training and returned home with a professional portfolio and a clear vision for what our work could become.
Shortly after, our first major project — the Double Diamond Athletic Club — earned First Place in a National Faux Finish Competition, at that time we knew we made the right decision.

Since that early recognition, we have continued to deepen our expertise through additional workshops with world-renowned faux-painting masters. 

We are committed to staying at the forefront of decorative painting, continually learning and evolving alongside new materials, methods, and design influences.
